Fort Knightly | Issue 1

The Fort-Knightly newsletter wishes to welcome the new, and welcome back the old, on behalf of the Westminster Old Scholars’ Soccer Club. Originally made popular from 2011 – 2013 under the James Raman administration, the FortKnightly newsletter serves as smart casual form of communication between the club and its fans, members, and admirers of amateur journalism. This first issue will canvas what is to come for the 2018 season. As the name suggests, a new issue will be available for consumption every two weeks from March onwards. With recent results, the social calendar, player profiles, fan submissions, competitions, photos, the Coaches Corner and more, there’s always something to look forward to! For now though, enjoy the occasional edition over the summer and familiarise yourself with what can be expected in future issues.

Coaches Corner

A staple in any sporting club’s newsletter, the Coaches Corner will offer a different coach each issue the chance to pour their hearts out onto the page. Think of this as a substitute for a postmatch press conference. The committee is currently in the process of securing coaches for all 4 teams for the 2018 season, so in the absence of any coaches so far, there’s not too much more to say. Stay tuned for any news on coaching signings in the near future!
