WE’RE BACK IN ACTION!

Welcome to yet another issue of the Fort-Knightly newsletter! I know what you’re thinking, “these aren’t coming out every fortnight…” You’d be correct, these are currently being released once a month, at best. But once the season starts, that will all change. Expect this informative, humorous, slightly self-indulgent, and roughly grammatically correct excuse for a piece of journalism every two weeks. Coming up this issue, we advertise the upcoming, inaugural WOSSC Forum, 2018 Season Launch and Team App. Keep reading for a brand new competition and a 4th haiku from Hamish Holland… that no one requested, but you’re getting anyway

WOSSC FORUM - A CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY

On Wednesday 28th March, WOSSC will be holding a Forum and Information Night in the David Jarman room at Westminster School from 6:15pm. This Forum will serve multiple functions. There will be a presentation from Swaif Khan, the Technical Director, and the other members of the 2018 Coaching Panel. How the Coaching Panel will operate, the expectations of players, and the new footballing philosophy for the Club will all be explained. Players will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they have regarding the new set up.

The 2018 Committee will also be presenting their Strategic Plan for 1, 3, and 5 years. This plan sets some challenging yet achievable goals that will move the Club forward in the near future, on and off the pitch. Again, players and members will have an opportunity to ask the Committee any questions they may have. The Forum will replace a training session for both Men’s and Women’s teams – to ensure as many people are in attendance as possible. The success of the Forum and the effectiveness of what is explained will depend on how many people are there to engage in the Forum. So whether you have an ingrown toe-nail, are fully fit, or in a fullbody cast, we hope to see you there! Following the WOSSC Forum, the Season Launch will be held on Friday 6th April at the Goody, from 6pm. This will be a more social and family friendly affair, to officially launch the 2018 season, to bond with your team mates and mingle off the pitch!
